The 4 day Tanzania Rhino Camping Safari offers you the flexibility to travel at your own pace. We can guarantee you a great safari accompanied by our local English-speaking driver/tour guide, who will ensure that you are comfortable and enjoying this remarkable and memorable trip in Tanzania.
You will discover and explore the three national parks in the northern tourism circuit of Tanzania. The safari consists of Tarangire national park, Lake Manyara national park and the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Tarangire national park is home to the largest concentration of African elephants, whereas Lake Manyara national park is home to the tree climbing lions, and Ngorongoro crater is the home for the largest concentration of wildlife in the world.
Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly spectacular setting and the best place in East Africa to spot the African Big 5 game, Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Rhino, and Leopard. It’s one of the world’s largest unbroken caldera which is the most noticeable feature of the park. The local Maasai tribe lives and grazes their livestock alongside the wild animals in the park.
Tarangire National Park is part of Tanzania’s Northern safari route in the Manyara region. It is an excellent destination for the wildlife enthusiast; it is a protected park that has the highest population density of elephants compared to other parts of Tanzania and its open plains. The landscape is rich and diverse with stunning and enormous baobab (upside-down) trees. This makes it a beautiful and unique park to visit.
Lake Manyara National Park is one of the best national parks in Tanzania, located in and with remarkable views of the Rift Valley cliff in the northern region. The park is known to have amazing tree-climbing lions, shallow alkaline waters, a soda lake that attracts and is famous for housing thousands of Pink Flamingos and different wildlife along its shores. It also has one of Tanzania’s biggest elephant populations and has spectacular scenery.
It’s a convenient stopover on the Northern Safari tour in Tanzania, and you will find authentic cultural interactions, an entry way to Lake Manyara National Park, and close to Tarangire National Park in the Great Rift Valley.
Mto wa Mbu in Swahili means a ‘Mosquito River’ (but it doesn’t really mean that are lots of mosquitos, it’s a name!). It’s located on the main road just before Karatu town, leads to Ngorongoro Crater and Conservation Area, and the Serengeti National Park. It’s surrounded by breathtaking scenery that is believed to be home for over 120 different tribal groups from across Africa that exists in the village. Mto wa Mbu is a cross-cultural mix with probably the most exotic mix of tribal local languages and civilizations found anywhere in Tanzania, with around 20,000 people that form a booming farming community.
